The club spans more than 3,000 acres and features an 18-hole mountain course designed by European golfing legend Ian Woosnam. Development History

• December 2007: Beijing Tongying Investment Group (通盈集团) signed a partnership agreement with IMG to develop the Yanqi Lake golf project.

• January 2008: The design for the overall development of the Yanqi Lake area was initiated in collaboration with HOK architectural design firm.

• June 2008: Construction of the golf course began after Zhuhai Zhongheng Golf Construction Company (珠海中恒高尔夫建设公司) won the bidding process.

• December 2009: The clubhouse construction was completed, and the course grass planting was finished.
