Airway

Weihai International Airport
Weihai International Airport is situated in Dashuibo Town, it is only miles away the city proper. It serves the city with regular flights to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Harbin, etc. domestically, and for international flights, they could reach the Korean cities of Seoul and Pusan. The airport is the fourth busiest airport in Shandong following Qingdao, Jinan and Yantai.

• City Proper to Airport
  Routes: Liqun Business Buildiing—Haiyujianguo Restaurant—News Building—Weihaiwei Building—Civil Aviation Administratio--Civil Aviation Ticket Office— Airport. It takes 90 minutes and 20 yuan each.

2.Taxis

It takes 90 to 100 yuan from to Weihai city center with 43 miles, 40 to 50 yuan to Wendeng city proper with 19 miles and 50 to 60 yuan to Rongcheng city proper with 25 miles.

Railway

There are 6 railway stations in Weihai, including Weihai Railway Station, Weihaibei Railway Station, Wendengdong Railway Station, Wendeng Railway Station, Rushan Railway Station and Rongcheng Railway Station.

Weihai Railway Station
Weihai Railway Station is located in Shulu Station which is inside the economic and technological development zone. It has offered trains to Beijing, Jinan, Wuhan, Heze, etc. You could take regular trains as well as high-speed trains here.

Weihaibei Railway Station
Weihaibei Railway Station is located on Huanshan Road, Huancui District. It belongs to an all-round, three-dimensional, multi-functional modern large-scale comprehensive transportation terminal. It integrates railway station, long-distance bus terminal, bus stops, taxi and social vehicles all together.

Wendengdong Railway Station
It located in Kejiazhang Village, Wendengying, Wendeng District. It is an intermediate station on Qing Rong Intercity Railway which offers the high-speed rail services directly to Shanghai Hongqiao, Beijing South, Jinan, Jimo North (Qingdao North soon) and Yantai, with five rail stations including Weihai, Weihai North, Wendeng, Wendeng East and Rongcheng.

Wendeng Railway Station
It is located in Mishanzhen Station, Wendeng District. It is a train station, offering trains to places near Weihai, like Heze, Jinan, Hankou, Beijing.

Rushan Railway Station
It is located in Xiaotuan Village, Xiacun Town, Rushan city. It offers trains to nearby places including Jinan, Weihai, Hankou, Beijiang and Heze.

Rushan Railway Station provides buses to Weihai city proper, including Bus No.10 5, 301, 303, 330, 333, 337, 339, 350, 351, 365, 3 66, 368, 369, 501. It takes 2 yuan for each person.

Rongcheng Railway Station
It is located in Rongcheng city. And it is a high-speed train station. Except the cities inside Shandong province, you could take high-speed trains here to other PLA like Shanghai, Beijing, Shijiazhang, Xi’an, etc.

As for conventional rail services, the K8262 train departs every day at 10:18 PM to Jinan, the provincial capital. The K412 goes directly to Beijing at 8:54 PM, and the No. K1068 train leaves at 9:38 AM for Hankou. Internally, the city is served by more than 50 bus routes.

Waterway

The use of waterway in Weihai could be traced back to 1572. After the waterway being operated, more and more port and sea routes were built. In addition the domestic places, the Weihai sea lanes could reach North.

From 1961 to 1962, the sea lines to many places were restored, these places including Qingdao, Shidao, Lidao, Yantai. In 1982, passenger ships to Dalian run, and cargo ships to Yantai, Dalian, Qingdao, Longkou, Dandong, Tianjin, Shanghai, Zhangjiabu, Shidao, Yangjiaogou were available.

Three ports in the city have passenger transport service. In the Port of Weihai, No.53, Binhai Bei Lu, there are ships to Dalian every Sunday and three ships a week to Incheon Korea. New Port of Shidao and Longyan Port are respectively situated in Shidao Town and Chengshan Town of Ronfcheng City, from which there are ships to Incheon and Pyongtaek of Korea.

Highway

The establishment and improvement experienced a not short history, and it achieved great movement. In 1982, all main highways were asphalt-paved expressways. More than 95% of the villages were opened to traffic. Now, not only the area of highway were enlarged, but also far more complete traffic systems been built. Incity Transportation

Bus

There are over one hundred bus routes to lots of scenic spots and main streets in Weihai, and most of them take 1 to 1.5 yuan each person and self-service buses. So you had better prepare some changes with you.

Sightseeing Buses in Xingfuhaian

The short trip takes you 90 minutes. The bus here departs each 30 minutes, and price is 10 yuan single ticket and 20 yuan or round trip.

Cruise Ship

There are cruise ships between Weihai Tourist Wharf and liugongdao Island, and it takes about 20 minutes. The price is 50 yuan for round tickets. A round trip ticket is included in the Liugongdao ticket package of 138 yuan.

Taxi
