Aviation

Jining Qufu Airport
Located in Zhifang Town, Jiaxiang County, Jining Qufu Airport is 24 miles far from Jining city proper. With its location north to the Jinan Airport, it plays an important role to the tourism routes of “one mountain, one spring and one sage” for tourism in Shandong. Acting as a significant air bridge connecting the hometown of Confucius and Mencius with the outside world, Jining Qufu Airport has provided flights to 26 cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Chongqing, Harbin, Haikou, Xiamem, Xi’an, Kunming, Changsha, Nanning, etc.

Airport Transportation:

Airport Express
The Jining airport express is from Jining Qufu Airport to the new gymnasium in downtown. It takes 10 yuan each.

Taxi
In addition to the airport express, visitors could take taxis to the city center. It takes 50 yuan and about 40 minutes.

Railway

There are many railway stations in Jining including Jining Railway Station, Qufu Railway Station, Yanzhou Railway Station, Liangshan Railway Station, Zoucheng Railway Station, Jiaxiang Railway Station, Sishui Railway Station and Qufudong Railway Station. Here is some information about the major ones.

Jining Railway Station
Location: Jianshenan Road, Rencheng District
It offers dozens of train lines to several cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Chengde, Jilin, etc. Inside Shandong province, you could takes trains to all the cities or counties in Shandong province. From downtown, you could take Bus No. 2 ,3, 4, 5, 9, 11, 12, 301 reaching the railway station.

Qufu Railway Station
Location: Dianlan Road, Qufu Economic Development Zone (the eastern area)
It is a small ranks station, and offers more trains to cities of Shandong. Out of the province, it has trains to Beijing.

Qufudong Railway Station
Location: Confucius Avenue, Qufu city
Situated in the east of Qufu city, Qufudong Railway Station is 14 miles far from the city proper. It is a high-speed railway station and have access to almost all the high-speed railway stations in China.

To reach Qufudong Railway Station
Urban public transit: Bus k01, D09, k30, 47 (no transferring); Bus No.1, 2, k03, k05, k06, 8, 10, K11 (with transferring)

Intercity Bus

• Bus No. B1 (Jining North Coach Station)
• Non-stop Bus
  It connects Qufu Railway Station and Qufudong Railway Station with 30-minute driving.
  Departure Time: 08：00, 10：30, 12：30, 16：30, 17：30, 18：10

Yanzhou Railway Station
Location: No.70 Jiuxianqiao Road, Yanzhou city
It offers trains to cities or counties inside the Shandong province and some major cities like Shanghai, Baotou, Nanning, Hangzhou, Baoding, Xi’an, Nantong, Taiyuan, etc.

Long-distance Bus

Jining Bus Terminal
Location: No.31, Jianshenan Road
As a transportation junction of southwest of Shandong province, about 800 long-distance buses depart here. It provides coaches to places both in the province and out of Shandong province. There are many hotels, restaurants and supermarkets nearby the station.
Bus from downtown: Bus No.4, 15, 30, 102, etc.

Jining North Coach Station
Location: No.4 Jianshebei Road,
The station mainly offers coach lines to destinations in other provinces like Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Ningbo, etc. Accommodation, shopping and dining nearby are convenience.
Bus from downtown: Bus No.4, 26, 30, 35, 102, etc.

Inner-city Transportation

Bus

There are lots of self-service bus lines in Jining, and the price varies from 1 to 2 yuan. Buses work 6 a.m. to 7：20 -- 8 p.m. in summer and 5：30 p.m. -- 7 p.m. in winter.

Taxi

The starting price of taxi here is 5 yuan for 2 miles, and it takes 1.3 yuan each mile while exceeding 2 miles.

Archaistic Wagon

It is a unique sightseeing vehicle in Jining, and mainly serves in tourist attractions.

Tricycle

It is a popular tour vehicle in Jining, which could help tourists bring a view of scenery there.
