Loudi City (娄底市) is the youngest prefecture-level city in Hunan Province and is located in the geographic center of Hunan. Named after the ancient Chinese astronomical stars “Lou” (娄星) and “Di” (氐星), Loudi is known as the “Pearl of Central Hunan.” The city combines rich Huxiang culture, unique Meishan traditions, agricultural heritage, and modern industrial strength. The core positioning is to develop Loudi into an international study-tour destination and a well-known domestic cultural tourism and wellness destination.
