Located on the southern bank of the middle Yangtze River in eastern Hubei Province, Ezhou is one of the oldest cities in the region with a history of more than 5,000 years of civilization and over 1,700 years of urban development. Geography and Climate

Ezhou is located in the central part of China’s economic geography, in eastern Hubei Province along the Yangtze River. It borders Wuhan to the west, Huangshi to the southeast, and faces Huanggang across the Yangtze River to the north. Its strategic location places it at the center of the Wuhan Metropolitan Area, making it one of the most closely connected cities with Wuhan.

The city features a landscape of rivers, lakes, plains, and low hills. The Liangzi Lake ecological area contributes to Ezhou’s reputation as a water-rich city with beautiful natural surroundings. Taking advantage of Ezhou Huahu International Airport, Ezhou plans to develop new inbound tourism products based on international passenger flows and aviation connections. Key directions include:
