Xingyi Transportation

Xingyi is located in southwest Guizhou province and the southwest of Qianxinan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, at the junction of three provinces of Guizhou, Yunnan and Guangxi, with advantageous geographical location. It is the capital of Qianxinan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, and the center of prefectural politics, economy, culture and information. The transportation in Xingyi is relatively convenient.

Airplane

Xingyi Wanfenglin Airport(兴义万峰林机场)
Qianxinan has Xingyi Wanfenglin Airport, which is 3 kilometers east of Xingyi city and covers an area of 2,300 mu(153.33 hectares). As of November 2018, there are direct flights from Xingyi to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Chongqing, Wuhan, Hangzhou, Changsha, Quanzhou, Ningbo, Kunming, Guiyang, Lijiang and Xi'an,etc.

Airport Transportation

No.1 bus, No.82 bus and ZX3 airport line run between the airport, the city bus station and the railway station. Bus No. 1 and No. 82 cost 2 yuan. The operation time of ZX3 airport special line(Wanfenglin Airport-urban area-Wanfenglin Airport) is 6.30-20:30, and departure interval is 20 minutes. The fare is 10 yuan, and the whole journey is 24.3 kilometers. You can also take a taxi, the starting fare is 5 yuan.

Train

Nankun railway(Nanning-Kunming) has been put into use with a total length of 874 kilometers, of which more than 180 kilometers are in Qianxinan prefecture. There are 88 stations on the whole line, 2 second-class stations are in Xingyi City, including Xingyi Railway Station and Weishe Railway Station. Among them, Xingyi Weishe railway station is district station and is one of the six hubs in southwest rail. There are direct trains from Kunming, Guangzhou, Xiamen, Shanghai, Hangzhou and other places to Xingyi. The railway between Guiyang and Xingyi needs to be built, at present, there is no train from Guiyang to Xingyi.

Long-distance Bus

Shantou-Kunming expressway(Guizhou section), Qingxing expressway(Qinglong-Xingyi) and Huixing expressway(Huishui-Xingyi) have been opened to traffic, national highway 324 runs through the city. There are more than 300 buses connecting Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chongqing, Guiyang, Kunming, Nanning and other cities and nearby more than 20 counties(cities) every day.

How to Get Around Xingyi

Bus

By 2017, a total of 41 bus routes have been opened in Xingyi, basically covering the city. The fare is 1 yuan.

Taxi

Xingyi city is not big, you can choose to walk when going out. You can also take the bus or taxi for going somewhere far away. Th starting fare of taxi is 5 yuan (2.5 kilometers). After exceeding the starting mileage, 1 yuan will be charged for each additional kilometer.
