Qiannan Transportation

Qiannan is the only way which must be passed from Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan and Chongqing to Hunan, Hubei and east China. Guizhou-Guangxi railway, Guiyang-Xinzhai high class highway, national highway 320 and 321 and provincial highway 207 run north and south. Qiannan is only 120 kilometers away from Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport. The convenient transportation provides the superior condition for traveling in Qiannan prefecture.

How to Get to Qiannan

You can get to Qiannan by air, train or long-distance bus.

Air

Libo airport, located in Libo county, has been completed in 2007. In addition, it is only 120 kilometers from Duyun, capital of the prefecture, to Guiyang Longdongbao international airport. You can also take high-speed rail from Duyun east railway station, Sandu county railway station and Guiding county railway station to Longdongbao railway station. This is the best way to Guiyang airport from Qiannan.

Qiannan Libo Airport(黔南荔波机场)
Libo airport is located in Libo county, the southern end of Qiannan prefecture. It is positioned as a tourist feeder airport. The main destinations include Guiyang, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Chengdu and Chongqing, etc. After the airport was put into operation, it only takes 30 minutes to fly from Libo to Guiyang, which greatly shortens the time and space distance between Libo and the outside world, and will push the takeoff of Libo tourism.

Train

Trains from Guiyang to Nanning, Zhanjiang and Liuzhou all stop at Duyun railway station, which is located in the downtown. Qiangui(Guizhou-Guangxi) railway, Xiangqian(Hunan-Guizhou) railway, Zhuliu(Zhuzhou-Liupanshui) railway, Guichang(Guiyang-Changsha) express railroad and Guiguang(Guiyang-Guangzhou) express railroad have been completed and opened to traffic.

1. Duyun East Railway Station(都匀东站)
Duyun East Railway Station is located in the Duyun Economic Development Zone of Duyun City, and is one of the 21 passenger stations on the Guiguang(Guiyang-Guangzhou) high-speed railway line. On December 26, 2014, Duyun East Station was officially opened. After that, it takes only 47 minutes from Duyun East Station to Guiyang, and 20 minutes to Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport. It takes only 2-4 hours to get to Guilin of Guangxi and Guangdong Pearl River Delta.

2. Duyun Railway Station(都匀站)
Located in Wangjiasi village, Xiaoweizhai town, Duyun railway station is a very important station in Duyun city. If you want to travel in Guizhou by train, you basically need to call at Duyun railway station. You can go to Chengdu, Guangzhou, Nanning, Haikou, Zunyi, Chongqing, Guiyang and other places from Duyun railway station.

5. Guiding County Railway Station(贵定县站)
Guiding county railway station is the third passenger station on the Guiyang-Guangzhou high-speed railway. It was opened and operated on December 26, 2014. The starting station is Guiyang north railway station, the previous station of Guiding County railway station is Longli north railway station, and the next station is Duyun east railway station.

6. Sandu County Railway Station(三都县站)
Sandu county station is a railway station of Guiyang-Guangzhou high-speed railway. The last station is Duyun east railway station and the next station is Rongjiang railway station. It is located in Pu'an town of Sandu county, Qiannan prefecture, 15 kilometers from the county seat of Sandu county, 16 kilometers from the county seat of Danzhai county, 36 kilometers from Duyun city. It was put into operation on December 26, 2014. 

Long-distance Bus

The transportation network in Qiannan is mainly composed of the Guizhou-Guangxi railway, Hunan-Guizhou railway and the 320 and 321 national highways. Guixin(Guiyang-Xinzhai) high-grade highway, Xiarong expressway(Guizhou section), Guiguang(Guiyang-Guangzhou) expressway, Guibai(Guiyang-Guangxi Baise) expressway, Guixin(Guiyang-Xinzhai) expressway, Xiarong(Xiamen-Chengdu) expressway, Mawu(Machangping-Chongqing Wulong) expressway and other traffic routes have been opened in succession. On December 31, 2015, with the opening of expressways from Dushan to Pingtang, from Guiyang to Wengan, from Wengan to Jiangkou, and from Wengan to Daozhen, Qiannan prefecture achieved the goal of "All counties have expressway".

How to Get Around Qiannan

Bus

Buses in Duyun city covers most of the main buildings and roads. The fare is usually 1-2 yuan. High-speed line 1 and high-speed line 2 can take you to Duyun east railway station. The fare is 4 yuan.

Taxi

The starting price of taxis in Duyun city is 5 yuan, if you do not go far, it's quite cheap. The starting price of taxis in Libo county is 4 yuan. But, the county seat of Libo county is small, if there is no special need, you can just walk around.
