There are 60 something scenic spots in Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, including 1 national scenic area, 4 provincial scenic spots, 1 national nature reserve and 5 provincial nature reserves. The south line tourism, Libo Zhangjiang National Scenic Area as the leading, has become a popular route for Guizhou tourism. Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture (黔南布依族苗族自治州) lies in central and southern Guizhou. Its tourism resources combine emerald karst rivers, primeval forests, caves, canyons, mountain grasslands, historic towns and the living cultures of the Buyi, Miao, Shui and Yao peoples.

Qiannan possesses two internationally recognized ecological landmarks. Libo Karst (荔波喀斯特) forms part of the UNESCO-listed South China Karst, where cone-shaped peaks, enclosed depressions, underground rivers and long cave systems create a global reference landscape for cone karst. Maolan Biosphere Reserve (茂兰生物圈保护区) joined UNESCO’s World Network of Biosphere Reserves in 1996 and protects one of the world’s best-preserved subtropical karst forests.

The prefecture also contains China’s Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Radio Telescope, or FAST (中国天眼), in Pingtang County. The National Astronomical Observatories describe FAST as the world’s largest single-dish radio telescope, making Qiannan an important destination for astronomy education and international study tours.

Libo Zhangjiang Scenic Area (荔波樟江旅游景区) is currently Qiannan’s only National 5A Tourist Attraction. The prefecture also maintains a broad network of 4A and 3A attractions covering natural landscapes, science education, ethnic villages, historical heritage and countryside tourism.

Duyun City Tourist Attractions

Duyun City (都匀市) is the capital and principal transport hub of Qiannan. Its attractions combine urban parks, historic streets, tea culture, film production and the forested Doupeng Mountain–Jianjiang landscape. Fuquan City Tourist Attractions

Fuquan City (福泉市) is known for its Ming-period heritage, Taoist culture, ancient bridges and mountain valleys. The most rewarding visit combines the historic town, Fuquan Mountain and Sajin Valley.

Libo County Tourist Attractions

Libo County (荔波县) is the natural highlight of Qiannan and deserves at least two or three days. It combines the UNESCO World Heritage landscapes of Libo Karst with the UNESCO Maolan Biosphere Reserve and Yao, Buyi and Shui cultural communities.

Guiding County Tourist Attractions

Guiding County (贵定县) is most famous in spring, when rapeseed fields and plum blossoms surround the Buyi villages of the Jinhai Xueshan area.

Weng’an County Tourist Attractions

Weng’an County (瓮安县) combines ancient-town architecture, revolutionary history, forest landscapes and the Wujiang river-and-canyon system.

Dushan County Tourist Attractions

Dushan County (独山县) is a convenient road and railway gateway between Guizhou and Guangxi. Its main attractions focus on caves, forests, wartime history and rural karst scenery.

Pingtang County Tourist Attractions

Pingtang County (平塘县) combines astronomy, geology and karst scenery. Its tourism industry has expanded around FAST, astronomy experience centres, Zhangbu, Jiacha, the tiankeng groups and the bridge landscape known as the Sky Bridge.

FAST lies within a protected radio-quiet environment. Visitor procedures may require electronic devices to be stored or controlled before approaching designated observation areas, so current regulations should be checked before arrival.

Luodian County Tourist Attractions

Luodian County (罗甸县) has a warmer climate than most of Qiannan and is known for the Hongshui River, reservoir landscapes, clear karst waterways and subtropical countryside.

Changshun County Tourist Attractions

Changshun County (长顺县) has developed a four-season tourism network centred on Shenquan Valley, Dujuan Lake, Phoenix Dam and the historic town of Guangshun.

Longli County Tourist Attractions

Longli County (龙里县) lies close to Guiyang and is popular for weekend trips, mountain recreation and family holidays.

Huishui County Tourist Attractions

Huishui County (惠水县) is a centre of Buyi folk-song culture. Its best-known destinations include Haohuahong Village, Yanzidong Cave, Jiulong Mountain and the Lianjiang countryside.

Sandu Shui Autonomous County Tourist Attractions

Sandu Shui Autonomous County (三都水族自治县) is China’s only autonomous county established for the Shui ethnic group. Its most distinctive tourism resources include Shui script, horsetail embroidery, village architecture, horse racing, the Duliu River and the geological curiosity known as the Egg-Laying Cliff. Recent official routes connect the Shui Culture Museum, Wanhushui Village, the Western Horse Racing City and Gulu Scenic Area.
