Wumeng Grassland covers a large high-altitude landscape within the Wumengshan geological region. Summer is the busiest season, while spring brings alpine azaleas and autumn offers clearer skies and golden grassland tones. The scenic area has also been placed under specific local protection regulations to safeguard its grasslands, lakes and geological environment.
Tuole Ancient Ginkgo Village is most famous from late October through November. Because the exact colour-changing period depends on temperature and rainfall, travellers should check current foliage reports rather than booking solely according to dates from previous years.
The 671 Third Front Cultural Park preserves former factory buildings, machinery, workers’ housing and industrial objects. It has been redeveloped as an educational and cultural complex while retaining the atmosphere of the original industrial site.
