Anshun City is located in the central west of Guizhou Province, adjacent to Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou Province, known as "the belly of Qian(Guizhou), the throat of Dian(Yunnan), and the lips and teeth of Shu(Sichuan) and Yue(Guangdong)". Anshun is located in the center of South China karst landform, which is the largest karst landform region in the world, with more than 1200 karst caves and more than 100 waterfalls, scattering rivers and canyons, peak and stone forests, forest and lakes, underground rivers and springs. There are three national scenic spots of Huangguoshu waterfalls, dragon palace and Getu river, four provincial scenic spots of Guanling Huajiang Grand Canyon(关岭花江大峡谷), Pingba Sila river scenic area(平坝斯拉河风景区), Puding Suoshai scenic area(普定梭筛风景区) and Qianfeng mountain(千峰山) of Xixiu District, as well as Guanling palaeontology national geopark, Anshun Jiulong mountain national forest park, etc. Besides, with a long history and a deep cultural background, Anshun is a famous historical and cultural city in Guizhou Province. There are human cultural landscapes like Tianlong Tunpu village, Zhongdong Miao village, Anshun Confucius temple, etc. Tourists can experience ancient Tunpu culture, Yelang culture and Chuandong culture there.
