Qinzhou Administrative Divisions

Qinzhou (钦州市) is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. In 1994, Qinzhou Prefecture was reorganized into the prefecture-level Qinzhou City. Located on the coast of the Beibu Gulf, Qinzhou covers a total land area of approximately 10,898.91 square kilometers.

The city’s administrative structure consists of two municipal districts and two counties:

• Qinnan District (钦南区)
• Qinbei District (钦北区)
• Lingshan County (灵山县)
• Pubei County (浦北县)

Qinzhou has 12 subdistrict offices and 54 towns, with no township-level administrative units. The city contains 154 communities and 887 administrative villages. The municipal government is located in Qinbei District (钦北区).

From a tourism perspective, Qinzhou features a clear geographical structure of southern coastal areas, central river plains and northern mountain regions. Qinnan District represents the coastal urban core with Qinzhou Port and Sanniang Bay. Qinbei District is the cultural and ecological corridor featuring Nixing Pottery heritage and mountain landscapes. With highways, high-speed railway connections and the Pinglu Canal development, Qinzhou has formed a tourism corridor combining coastal landscapes and mountain scenery, connecting easily with Nanning, Beihai, Fangchenggang and Chongzuo to create a Beibu Gulf regional travel route.

Note: Qinzhou Port Economic and Technological Development Zone and Sanniang Bay Tourism Management Area are functional management areas rather than official county-level administrative divisions. They belong administratively to Qinnan District.

Qinnan District (钦南区): Coastal Urban Center and Marine Tourism Area

Administrative Overview

The government of Qinnan District (钦南区) is located in Shuidong Subdistrict (水东街道). The district administers 5 subdistricts and 11 towns and serves as the coastal urban center of Qinzhou.

Located along the Beibu Gulf coastline, Qinnan District includes important coastal areas such as Qinzhou Port, Maowei Sea and Longmen Port. It connects with Fangchenggang City to the west and Beihai City to the east.
