Sanjiang

Sanjiang (三江), an ethnic Dong Autonomous County, is nestled in the northern part of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in southern China. Located a short distance from the borders of Guizhou Province to the northwest and Hunan Province to the northeast, Sanjiang connects to the famous Longji Terraces in Longsheng. This picturesque county is a fresh addition to the tourism scene, offering a unique cultural experience not far from the well-known city of Guilin.

The name "Sanjiang," which means "three rivers," comes from the county being intersected by the Xun, Miao, and Rong rivers. Sanjiang enjoys a monsoon subtropical humid climate, with lush greenery and scenic landscapes, making it an ideal spot for eco-tourism.
