Hezhou (贺州) is located in northeastern Guangxi (广西), at the junction of Guangxi, Guangdong, and Hunan provinces, covering a total area of about 11,752 square kilometers. As a prefecture-level city, Hezhou administers two districts, two counties, and one Yao Autonomous County, including Babu District, Pinggui District, Zhaoping County, Zhongshan County, and Fuchuan Yao Autonomous County.

Babu District is the central urban area of Hezhou and the location of the municipal government. Covering approximately 3,666 square kilometers, it is the largest district in the city and serves as the commercial, transportation, and tourism service center.
Babu District administers three subdistricts, including Babu Subdistrict, Chengdong Subdistrict, and Jiangnan Subdistrict, as well as 12 towns: Hejie, Butou, Liantang, Daning, Nanxiang, Guiling, Kaishan, Lisong, Xindu, Lingfeng, Renyi, and Pumen.
