Yangshuo Climate

Yangshuo County is located in the northeast of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, south of Guilin City. Yangshuo has a subtropical climate with mild climate and abundant rainfall. The annual average rainfall is 1,900 mm, the average temperature is 19°C. There is no cold in winter and no hot in summer. The annual frost-free period is about 300 days, and the annual average sunshine is more than 1,550 hours. Therefore, Yangshuo is definitely a good place for tourism, and the scenery is absolutely unique. The scenery on both sides of the Li River is beautiful, the air is very fresh, and the Cruise  on Li River is very pleasant. The scenery of the Karst Landform is also very good.

Temperature in Yangshuo County

July is the hottest month with the average temperature of around 28.8 °C.  January is the coldest month of the year at the average temperature of 9.6 °C. In fact, it is not cold compared with other places in northern China.

Best Time to Visit

Yangshuo is a place that is suitable to visit all year round.

• Spring: The best time to visit Yangshuo is actually the spring. It is the best time to experience the pastoral scenery. Roam in the green mountains, see the golden rape blossoms and feel the different beauties.
• Summer: When coming to Yangshuo in summer, the most important thing that you cannot miss is is drifting. Li River Cruise is a good choice.
• Autumn: Walking in the West Street in the autumn, there is a petty bourgeoisie taste that cannot be ignored in West Street. You can also visit Fuli Ancient Town and find the folk customs.
• Winter: It is not suitable for drifting or cycling in winter. At this time, you can visit West Street in Yangshuo. Those shops and bars are also one of the characteristics of Yangshuo.
