The southwestern border area, including Jingxi and Debao, is famous for karst landscapes, waterfalls, lakes and ethnic villages. The G219 border highway passes through this region, making it one of Guangxi’s most popular self-driving and motorcycle touring routes.

The western border mountain area, including Napo, Tianlin, Longlin and Xilin, is farther from central Baise. Roads are narrower and more winding, but the region offers excellent opportunities for deep exploration, ethnic culture experiences and border tourism.

Railway Transportation

Baise Railway Station is the main transportation gateway for visitors arriving by train. Located in Youjiang District, it is connected with the Yunnan–Guangxi High-speed Railway, providing direct access to cities such as Nanning, Kunming and Guangzhou.

The railway station is close to major urban attractions including Baise Uprising Memorial Park, the old city area and downtown hotels. Taxi, bus and shared transportation services make transfers convenient.

For most visitors from outside Guangxi, arriving by high-speed train is the most efficient way to begin a Baise tour.

Air Transportation

Baise Bama Airport is located in Tianyang District and provides domestic flights, although flight choices are relatively limited.

For international travelers and long-distance visitors, Nanning Wuxu International Airport is often a more convenient option. Travelers can take high-speed rail from Nanning to Baise, with a journey time of approximately 1.5 hours.

Chengbi Lake is located about 25 kilometers from downtown Baise. Driving takes around 35 minutes, with good road conditions.
