  • Huangshan Festivals And Activities

Huangshan (黄山) is not only famous for its breathtaking granite peaks and sea of clouds, but also for its rich cultural heritage rooted in ancient Huizhou Culture (徽州文化). Throughout the year, visitors can experience centuries-old folk traditions, colorful lantern festivals, tea celebrations, photography events, outdoor sports competitions, and vibrant cultural exhibitions.

From the legendary Wangmantian Fish Lantern Festival (汪满田嬉鱼灯) and Yansi Shangjiu Temple Fair (岩寺上九庙会) to the spectacular autumn photography season in Tachuan Village (塔川村) and the renowned Qimen Black Tea Festival (祁门红茶节), Huangshan offers a fascinating blend of mountain scenery, local customs, traditional arts, and community celebrations.
