    Chinese Food & Cuisine is one of the most important parts of Chinese culture and is recognized as one of the world’s three great cuisines alongside French and Turkish cuisine. With a long and distinguished history, Chinese cuisine is known for its rich variety, refined cooking techniques, and unique regional styles. It originates from diverse Chinese regional cuisines and ethnic minority food traditions, forming a deeply influential food culture in East Asia and worldwide.

    The history of Chinese food culture dates back more than 5,000 years, with early evidence of barbecue and grilled fish. Over different dynasties such as Shang, Zhou, Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing, Chinese cuisine history continuously evolved, introducing famous dishes, traditional cooking methods, and regional culinary systems. By the Song Dynasty, major Chinese regional cuisines had already taken shape, and later periods further enriched the cuisine with thousands of dishes and ethnic influences such as halal food traditions, shaping today’s authentic Chinese food culture.

    Chinese cuisine is defined by its unique characteristics of color, aroma, taste, and nutritional balance, emphasizing harmony between ingredients and cooking techniques. It values seasonal ingredients, fresh produce, and careful selection of materials, forming the foundation of traditional Chinese food culture. Today, dishes such as dumplings, Peking duck, Kung Pao chicken, and hot pot represent the global popularity of Chinese food culture, making Chinese cuisine one of the most influential and widely recognized culinary traditions in the world.
