Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas is located in the central area of Guilin. Guilin sun and moon tower, known as the world's first copper tower, is a beautiful night view of Guilin tourism. Twin sun and moon pagodas tower over Riyue Shuangta Cultural Park, a popular green space for relaxing strolls and evening street entertainment.

Why is Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas So Special?

Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas is a famous Chinese tower, a cultural landmark of Guilin City, the first cultural park in China with the theme of "the sum of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism", and a tourist attraction integrating culture, art, religion, architecture, technology and natural landscape.

History of Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas

Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas were rebuilt in 2001 on the basis of the pagodas of the Tang Dynasty. In the Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas Underground Palace Museum, there are Buddhist relics unearthed from the pagoda of Tang Dynasty.
