Known for its steep river drops and fast rapids, the rafting course is often described as a “roller coaster on water.” Rafts surge through waves, spinning between crests and troughs, delivering an adrenaline-pumping ride full of wild excitement. Perfect for adventure seekers!

? Pure Spring Water

The river’s main source is abundant mountain spring water from Longqi Mountain. It is crystal-clear, cool, and reportedly reaches Class I drinking water standard.

? Naturally Cool

Thanks to dense forest coverage, the rafting route is 4–5°C cooler than nearby urban areas, offering a refreshing escape from the summer heat. Even under the midday sun, the gorge remains pleasantly cool.

? Transportation

• By Car: Set navigation to “Longqi Mountain Grand Canyon Rafting (龙栖山大峡谷漂流)”.

  • From Sanming: Take Sanquan Expressway or Shenhai Expressway, exit at Jiangle Station, drive straight toward Mingxi, then turn right at Bailian Town to reach the scenic area.

⚠️ Safety & Health Notes

• Always follow staff instructions.

• When passing through dangerous rapids: hold the safety rope, keep feet tucked, and lean toward the center of the raft.

• Not suitable for: elderly visitors, children, pregnant women, and those with heart disease, hypertension, or other high-risk medical conditions.

Even if rafting is unavailable, Longqi Mountain National Nature Reserve (龙栖山国家级自然保护区) is worth visiting:

• ? Forests – With a forest coverage rate of 97% and an average summer temperature of only 18°C, it’s a natural “green lung.”

• ? Longtan Waterfall (龙潭瀑布) – A stunning cascade within the reserve.
