Benxi Grand Canyon

Benxi Grand Canyon (本溪大峡谷) is a National 4A Scenic Area located in Jiefang Village, Nanfen District, Benxi City, Liaoning Province, about 35 km from downtown Benxi and approximately 1.5 hours from Shenyang. It is famous for its 800-million-year-old karst canyon landscape, combined with extreme adventure attractions, cliff experiences, and social media photo spots, making it one of Northeast China’s top destinations for adventure tourism and summer escape.

The canyon features deep valleys, towering cliffs, dense forests, and rich negative oxygen ions, often described as a natural “urban lung cleansing zone.”

2. Rainbow Sky Water Slide (七彩云端水滑)

A 2,019-meter forest water slide built along mountain slopes. Visitors wear raincoats provided by the park and slide through sharp curves at high speed, directly down to the valley floor. It is one of the most popular summer cooling attractions.

3. Forest Sliding Track (丛林滑道)
