Just finished a six-day trip to Kunming, Jianshui and Yuanyang. Here are some things I want to share. The schedule was really well planned. We didn’t feel rushed or tired at all, and we had plenty of time to sightsee and relax every day. All the meals were halal, and we tried Jianshui grilled tofu, which was really unique and tasty. I usually get carsick before, but the vehicle was spacious and the driver’s skill was good, so I felt fine during the whole trip. Our tour guide was a wonderful, friendly and thoughtful guy, communication was not a problem at all. I’m so glad to have made a new friend in China. Haigeng Dam in Kunming has beautiful scenery, and we even got the chance to feed the migrating seagulls. What I recommend most is the Yuanyang Terraced Fields. It was such a huge surprise for me because I had never seen before! Besides the amazing natural scenery, you can also see the wisdom of the local people in how they make use of the land. If I ever get the chance to visit Yunnan again, definitely will choose here again.

Then there is, I also want to reflect some small comments to Yaso Travel Industry, our Lei Xu guide and Master Pu in all aspects of the service was excellent, in addition to always meticulous care, they have added a lot of security for us, especially Lei Guide, when Changpinggou back on foot, a little situation occurred, originally rented two horses did not show up, but the guide kept on calling them to bring the horse, after several efforts to hire the horse successfully, or four - after that there were also a few times thanks to Lei Guide's precarious arrangements we played very smoothly and smoothly! Master Pu's driving skills were also first-rate, getting us to our destinations intact every time, and although we didn't need oxygen tanks, his thoughtfulness in preparing a little more oxygen for us was reassuring. And finally, of course, thank you again Frost for consulting with me from the beginning and answering all my questions positively, as well as always trying to help me coordinate the entire tour! October 2025 Our journey from Singapore to Yunnan was truly an enriching experience, and we are so grateful for the thoughtful planning and attention to detail that went into organizing our trip. The itinerary was engaging, well-curated, and perfectly aligned with our interests, allowing us to experience the best that Yunnan has to offer. The program was wonderfully balanced, offering a great mix of scenic landscapes, religious and historical sites, and exciting activities. We particularly enjoyed the spectacular shows, like the Yunnan Impression, and the hands-on experiences, such as the tie-dyeing activity at Zhoucheng Village. These experiences kept us entertained and involved throughout the entire trip. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the ascent of Jade Dragon Mountain, which was an unforgettable experience and a must-do for anyone visiting Yunnan. We are also deeply grateful for the thoughtful arrangements made for my sister-in-law, who uses a wheelchair. The extra support provided ensured that she could fully enjoy the beauty of Yunnan without any difficulty. A special thanks to Justin Wang, whose service went above and beyond our expectations. He took care of every detail with patience, compassion, and a helpful attitude, making our trip even more enjoyable. His professionalism and personal touch truly made a difference. Thank you so much for making this trip one we will always remember.

November 2025 Had a fantastic experience with Yaso Trip and would highly recommend them to anyone planning a trip to China! We booked two separate tours in Yunnan, and both exceeded our expectations. The first was a 4-day journey from Lijiang to Shangri-La, guided by Andy. He was incredibly helpful, engaging, and knowledgeable. Throughout the trip, he took us to some of the most breathtaking scenic spots and patiently answered all our questions, making the experience both enjoyable and informative. Our second tour was a day trip in Kunming with Lisa, who was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. March 2026 As a traveler from Italy, I recently completed an 8-day tour in Yunnan, southern China, arranged by Yaso Trip. It was truly a wonderful and unforgettable experience from start to finish. The other three destinations each showcase their own distinct charm, with diverse landscapes, local cuisines, and architectural styles shaped by different ethnic minority cultures. Yunnan is not only rich in natural beauty, but also deeply impressive in its cultural diversity and authenticity. Yaso Trip proved to be a highly reliable and professional travel partner. Dear Kelly, Here are some notes from our 10 days adventure in Yunnan 1. Overall is good 1. The food is suitable with our indonesian tongue, considering that indonesian are friendly with chinese food. Although we fill that some restos, the food is a bit too oily. ps: it’s good to have our guide around, becase we have difficulty in discussing the food with the waitress (for example asking for spicy food, asking for spoon, how to cook….is it boiled or stir with oil etc). 2. The hotel overall is great, except of course for the hotel in meili snow (one room, that is my room has no door in the bathroom, so it’s not conviniece when we use toilet etc). Note about hotel in Dongchuan (the Red Earth) ….. it’s a bit old, any maybe because not so many people stay the room is ‘not fresh’…… but still acceptable 2. I think indonesian young traveller like has different “attitude” in enjoying the scene compare to chinese or other nationality. We Loooveeeees to feel the atmosphere, the ambiance, look around, talk with local people etc etc. So no need to RUSH in every spot. I notice that at few spot the guide is a bit in rush, so we need to ask him to take it easy and slowly. Also, it is very important for us to take picture as many as possible. Maybe it is part of our SHARING culture. So everytime we finish a holiday, all friends and relatives urge to see as many pictures as possible for their reference. 3. It will be GREAT if the guide, tell as AS MANY background story as possible about the view or any place we visit. Because we didnt receive any brochure or documents that tell the story about Yunnan/ Lijiang/ Shangrilla others. If possible, Yunnan Travel can give like a “manual book” for foreigners….some infos that you put in your website. Ny Ma tell so many stories about TIbetan. But Sandy don’t give to much about Lijiang or Naxian or others. Curtis even worst because tell us nothing about local culture etc etc. (only a very few like don’t expect too much the color maybe not as good as in winter). So far these that i can remember ?
