Since 2005, Yaso Trip has been dedicated to helping travelers fulfill their China dream by providing exceptional tours. With a focus on delighting travelers, we have received numerous positive reviews from clients worldwide, praising our consultants, tour guides, drivers, hotels, attractions, meals, and overall service. The following reviews are carefully selected from millions of emails over the years, reflecting the satisfaction of our customers from different countries and regions.
As the No. 1 Best Seller Yunnan itinerary, this trip was truly worth every moment.
First, the selection of destinations was exceptional. Kunming, Lijiang, Dali, and Shangri-La perfectly showcase the stunning natural landscapes and diverse ethnic cultures of Yunnan Province. Each place we visited offered something unique, creating a rich and fulfilling experience.
I found the choice of high-speed rail as the mode of transport to be a smart one. Not only did it allow us to witness China’s rapid development, but it also significantly reduced our travel time. As a solo traveler, I particularly appreciated the option to choose a quiet carriage, which provided a peaceful and comfortable space to relax and enjoy the journey.
The tour guide services were outstanding and truly added value to the trip. In Yunnan, it’s not just about the beautiful landscapes—it’s about immersing yourself in the region’s cultural and ethnic diversity. Our guide made the journey even more meaningful by sharing insights into the local culture and history.
One of the highlights of the trip was the discovery of Dali. The Three Pagodas were breathtaking, and walking along the serene shores of Erhai Lake was one of the most relaxing moments of my life. Xizhou Ancient Town was another gem, where we got to experience the rich culture of the Bai minority. The guide recommended the Bai Three-Course Tea experience, which turned out to be an unforgettable cultural immersion. It truly enhanced my understanding of the Bai people’s traditions and way of life.
Overall, this trip was nothing short of amazing, and I can’t wait to recommend it to my friends. I’m looking forward to inviting them to join me for another meaningful journey through Yunnan.

It was truly a wonderful trip—I absolutely loved every moment of it.
A few days ago, I joined a small group tour organized by Yaso Trip, traveling from Kunming to Dali, Lijiang, and Shangri-La. The entire journey lasted 8 days, and I genuinely felt happy and relaxed every single day.
What impressed me most was our tour guide, who left a very deep impression on me—I must give her a big thumbs-up! Throughout the trip, she not only provided professional and insightful explanations about each destination, but also showed great care for everyone in the group, always checking in to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. She is truly a knowledgeable, attentive, and dedicated guide.
The itinerary was very well arranged, with a perfect pace that never felt rushed. Everything was thoughtfully planned, allowing us to fully enjoy each destination. The vehicle was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, which made the long drives between cities much more enjoyable.
Yunnan itself is absolutely stunning. We experienced a wide variety of breathtaking natural landscapes, including the famous Stone Forest, the majestic Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, as well as the beautiful Cangshan Mountains and Erhai Lake. At the same time, we also explored charming ancient towns and gained a deeper understanding of the region’s rich local culture.
Another highlight of the trip was definitely the food. Each destination offered its own unique local specialties. In Dali, we especially enjoyed milk pancakes, fried noodles, and Xizhou baba—all delicious and unforgettable.
Overall, this was an amazing experience, and I have completely fallen in love with Yunnan. I will definitely share this journey with all my friends and highly recommend it to anyone considering a trip to China.

Dear Kelly,
Here are some notes from our 10 days in Yunnan with Yunnan Exploration
1. Overall is good
1. The food is suitable with our indonesian tongue, considering that indonesian are friendly with chinese food. Although we fill that some restos, the food is a bit too oily.
ps: it’s good to have our guide around, becase we have difficulty in discussing the food with the waitress (for example asking for spicy food, asking for spoon, how to cook….is it boiled or stir with oil etc).
2. The hotel overall is great, except of course for the hotel in meili snow (one room, that is my room has no door in the bathroom, so it’s not conviniece when we use toilet etc). Note about hotel in Dongchuan (the Red Earth) ….. it’s a bit old, any maybe because not so many people stay the room is ‘not fresh’…… but still acceptable
2. I think indonesian young traveller like has different “attitude” in enjoying the scene compare to chinese or other nationality. We Loooveeeees to feel the atmosphere, the ambiance, look around, talk with local people etc etc. So no need to RUSH in every spot. I notice that at few spot the guide is a bit in rush, so we need to ask him to take it easy and slowly.
Also, it is very important for us to take picture as many as possible. Maybe it is part of our SHARING culture. So everytime we finish a holiday, all friends and relatives urge to see as many pictures as possible for their reference.
3. It will be GREAT if the guide, tell as AS MANY background story as possible about the view or any place we visit. Because we didnt receive any brochure or documents that tell the story about Yunnan/ Lijiang/ Shangrilla others. If possible, Yunnan Travel can give like a “manual book” for foreigners….some infos that you put in your website.
Ny Ma tell so many stories about TIbetan. But Sandy don’t give to much about Lijiang or Naxian or others. Curtis even worst because tell us nothing about local culture etc etc. (only a very few like don’t expect too much the color maybe not as good as in winter).
So far these that i can remember ?
Thank you Kelly

Our trip to Yunnan was absolutely wonderful, and a large part of that was due to our exceptional tour guide. From the start, it was clear that our guide was not only a professional but also deeply passionate about the region's history and culture. He spoke fluent English, which made communication easy, and he shared insightful stories about the area’s people and landmarks.
Each morning, he would brief us on the itinerary for the day and explain how we would go about the planned activities. What stood out most was his dedication to going above and beyond the itinerary to enrich our experience. He provided us with snacks, fruits, and water throughout the day, ensuring we were well taken care of, especially during long travel times.
Another thoughtful gesture was his attention to our dietary preferences. Two of us didn’t eat spicy food, and once he learned this, he made sure to order non-spicy food for the whole group, even though he and the driver preferred spicy dishes. When we suggested ordering some spicy food for the group, he kindly declined, explaining that they could “survive without spicy food for a few days” because customer comfort always came first. His focus on making sure we enjoyed the food and overall experience was greatly appreciated.
His positive attitude and willingness to always put the customer’s needs first truly made the trip stand out. This tour guide was the epitome of professionalism. We were so grateful for his exceptional service that we ensured his efforts were handsomely rewarded with generous tips.
Overall, the Yunnan trip was impeccably planned and executed, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. It was a perfect blend of history, culture, and hospitality. Thank you for making this journey so memorable.
